Greetings from Hockeyfest!

Here's a slideshow of the photos I took while at Hockeyfest 2009. Below the slideshow are a couple of my personal favorites. Enjoy!

Me (left) and my best friend, Karlee sitting on the Red Wings bench. The nice gentleman who was working Hockeyfest asked if we wanted to have our picture taken on the other bench because it had the Hockeyfest propaganda all over it. We much preferred to sit where our heros have sat.

Me on the zamboni. I know if I had to drive that thing, I would totally fall off. The seat did not feel very sturdy and the damn thing wasn't moving.

Kronner's stall. My favorite current Red Wing. Who doesn't love the big hit?

Finally, this may be my favorite photo I took the entire day. This is what I like to call "The Detroit Red Wings Vanity". This is part of the Red Wings locker room, which, truth be told, was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be (insert dirty joke...HERE).

Now I am a chick who loves hockey, but I still am, as much as I hate to admit it, a girly-girl at heart. I am absolutely jealous of this set up. They have room for EVERYTHING (note the hair dryers on the counter). I'm sure the players are thrilled that those were on display for the fans to see.
